From empowering a class of Egyptian women, extending lifesaving cervical and breast cancer services to women in Africa through Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon, hosting a mountain bike ride and golf tournament for our wounded servicemen and women, launching our first initiative in human freedom, to releasing our first book, The 4% Solution, 2012 was a busy year at the Bush Center and Bush Institute!

July 24, 2012 – President and Mrs. Bush visited Brooke Mattapan Charter School in Boston, MA, where they participated in a roundtable discussion about the Bush Institute’s Alliance to Reform Education Leadership, an effort focused on training, recruiting and empowering school principals.
