This weekend the Bush Institute's 4% Growth Project partnered with the Minnesota Urban Debate League to host a regional qualifying debate in Minneapolis. More than 160 Minnesota high school students converged on Minneapolis South High School to debate U.S. economic policy toward Mexico, Cuba, and Venezuela. After two days and multiple rounds of debate, 12 students have qualified to compete in the Bush Institute's "National Championship" debates that will take place in Dallas, Texas, October 19-20, 2013.
