On September 19, the George W. Bush Presidential Center joined nonprofit organizations across North Texas as a participant of North Texas Giving Day, an annual, one-day fundraising event that raises awareness and funds for nonprofit organizations throughout North Texas. Event sponsors raised matching funds and awarded prize funds to organizations based on participation levels.
We are pleased to announce that with the generous support from more than 400 outstanding donors, the Bush Center raised more than $70,000! The huge success also helped us win the third place award for a first-year participating organization with the highest number of unique donors.
We are grateful to have such generous supporters who help us fund programs at the Bush Institute, serve visitors from across the country and preserve an important part of our Nation’s history. Thank you to Anne Davies on the Development team for spearheading the outreach and for the overwhelming support from across the country!
