Katie Woodward joined the George W. Bush Presidential Center in April 2024 as a Regional Development Officer. In this role, she works closely with individual donors primarily in Texas and the Southeast region of the United States to sustain and grow support for the Bush Center.
Before joining the Bush Center, Woodward was the Assistant Director of Development for the Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. In this role, she oversaw all annual fund giving for the Jonsson School and managed a portfolio of individuals and corporate partners. Woodward has worked in the development sector for over 12 years. She has served in various roles at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support.
Woodward received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University. She and her husband, Dan, live in East Dallas with their son, Carter, and their dog, Happy Gilmore.
