Albert Torres serves as Program Manager, Global Policy at the George W. Bush Institute. In this role, he works on issues involving corruption & kleptocracy – global issues that involve illicit financial practices and corruption in the public sector.

Before joining the Bush Center, he worked at Raymond James in the Anti-Money Laundering department with the investigative team, as well as the Operations & Strategy division. A Miami native, Torres began his career in finance, working as a boutique banker in South Florida. While working in finance, he completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Florida International University, focusing on Economics and Global Affairs.
