The 2023 NexPoint Lecture convenes an eye-opening and thought-provoking conversation that explores artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies as a threat to our democracy. The discussion will be headlined by Garry Kasparov, the Russian pro-democracy leader, global human-rights activist, author, and former world chess champion. Kasparov will be joined on stage by Shane Tews, a Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute who is an expert on cybersecurity, digital privacy, AI, internet governance, and emerging tech.
